I've applied for the same hunt for x amount of years and assumed boot was OTC as it had been.  I've hada  boot cougar tag for years.  Well got in a hurry, grabbed the two choices and got nailedin the end.

I didn't lose any points on this one. Just a better unit and time to call one in than I have near me.

Fred.....were you smoking pot..... :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I can't beleive you drew a boot permit....I think bucklucky is the only one who drew a hound permit.....looks like I will be taking him hunting if he is up for it....

FYI - I caught the former P&Y world record in the same unit he drew.....and the #2 Washington P&Y cat... ;)

Hey before you go to idaho, pm me, we know Idaho well and can steer you away from the concentrations of wolves. A few of those areas the wolves have been making it a habit to have dog on their menu.... :(

First two selections were for hound permits, I got passed over for those, so I wouldn't have drawn this year anyways.  Only thing I lost was a point, so no biggie for me.

1 9013 STEVENS-PEND OREILLE1  WITH DOGS  Not Drawn
2 9012 FERRY-OKANOGAN WITH DOGS Not Drawn
3 9008 STEVENS-PEND OREILLE1 WITHOUT DOGS SELECTED
