Lost one...
« on: September 28, 2009, 12:45:23 PM »
I have never lost a bear, deer, duck, goose, anything before.

Shot a button buck about 6:45pm, searched till 10:30 and again the next morning.  Covered a couple miles... I saw where I hit, I saw a good hit, I watched him run.. I've never had this happen before! :bash:

I feel horrible about the fact that a deer just walked off and died and the meat went to waste...

Well, that's my confession to you guys.

At least I arrowed a turkey the next day I guess?

if a deer gets hit in the forest and nobody else saw you hit it, and 4 guys searching for 6 hours can't find it, at what point do you admit that you missed the deer?

my belief is that it didn't go to waste.  Think how many small creatures benefit from that.

I agree. Not that WE don't get it and understand but the scuzball antis are watching. Sorry about the bad news, thats a bummer. Never lost a duck or a goose though??     I'm not sure about that. Ever since steel came out I've lost my share.
