Going to pull Cards and shoot coyotes this weekend!!
« on: September 17, 2009, 01:23:56 PM »
Headed over near Tonasket tomorrow afternoon to check the game cams and try and shoot a coyote or three and maybe some Grouse.

Birdguy was nice enough to go set them up in our area last month and I'm dying to see what we caught on film.  We have all 4 of them set up on different trails that lead towards one of the only wet areas for quite a ways and have given us pretty good luck in the past.

Using Moultrie D40's so I'm also curious to see what the battery life looks like.  Usually get a 5 weeks out of them in Winter.

We've seen coyotes almost every time we've gone over there and I've yet to connect in 3 differnt opportunities.  :bash:  :hunt2:

Shot at one and missed which scared it past Birdguy and he dusted it so at least we got it but I'm dying to shoot one of my own!!  Borrowed another buddy's high dollar FoxPro predator call so going to give that a try.

I'll post the camera pics and hopefully some dead coyote shots Sunday evening!!
