I've eaten 'em, but never notice the problems you guys had had....  :chuckle:  course, it was always late in the year.

Couple of ladies around here make preserves out of them too.

I thought I would s--t myself to death, it's a good thing there was only 1/2 mile to go to where Boneaddict and his mother waited to pick me up even though I was 24 hours late.

See now wouldn't that be a good addition to your book?
LOL

Thanks for the story, that is some seriously tough and steep country.
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

That story would certainly be a highlite of the book.  I'm not sure how many times I have heard the original uncut version, but its one I often ask for time and again.  It was pretty hardcore.

Thanks Saylean

This is the next morning after failing a 4 hour attempt on the big herd bull of the area.  I was pretty bummed for my failure, but then some action.

that first broadside pic of the bear on this 2nd page looks dang near the double to the one I missed with my bow, although I am sure it aint.  ;)

You sure run into the critters.

That last bear isn't anything special, but I'd still let him have it with my longbow!!!

Nice pics Doug!

I thought to myself this was one that could have died without anyone knowing there was a cub, as again, this is about as big as a sow gets in Washington.
