Great job Nick 8)
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Well i finally have time to post my story on the buck. This last thursday was my last day to hunt, I hunted hard all season for a 140-45 class buck that i had over 600 pictures on my trail camera and was determined to harvest him. I didnt have the best luck.... day two of archery season i had him at 13 yards under my treestand, i drew back and heard a twang, I looked down and my bottom limb of my bow had split about 6 inches long. That set me back two days of hunting having to get my bow fixed at Martin Archery and having to completely resight in my bow with 09 moab limbs. That day educated that buck and never had him in range again. I passed up 13 legal bucks (including this one on numerous occations) in hope taking the big buck down, but that never fell through. My last day came quick and went out and hit my spots hard once more. In the morning the weather didnt cooperate how i would have liked it to. The wind was swirling and blew up the canyon that the deer came down from. I didnt see much. That evening i went out and sat in my ground blind for a couple of hours. About an hour before sundown when the deer started moving into the field I suddenly heard voices and turned around to find 3 blackberry pickers tresspassing quite aways into our property not more than 25 yards behind me... So I had a talk with them and just decided to hang it up, figured that was it for my deer season. I finally decided to check one more area and headed up one of our trails not expecting to see much. I saw a bear about 150 yards ahead of me and decided to pursue him. I didnt walk 10 steps and all of a sudden saw this buck step out of the ditch and onto the trail that i was on. I ranged him at 53 yards. Thought about whether i should shoot him or hold out for the late season. Well i figured that i didnt want to eat tag soup this year and took the shot. I pasted him right behind the shoulder and he didnt go farther than 50 yards and bedded down where i watched him till dark.  I left there and went up to my cousins house and we went down to take pictures and field dress him. Im happy that i have meat in the freezer and cant complain about the exciting hunts i had this season. Ive had everything from a bat landing on my shoulder in my tree stand to having a squirrel chew up my straps to my treestand and hang from my saftey harness. I had a legal buck come up and sniff my feet and walk off. This is why i switched from rifle to the stick and string. Its real hunting!
