Good NE Wa Bull
« on: September 18, 2009, 10:37:21 PM »
Spent the last seven days looking for this guy, but came up empty handed.  Went in after him beyond the camera and the brush and terrain is terrible for hunting, but great for hiding elk.  This is the third year I have gotten pictures of him, he has been a solid six point for at least three years.  Any guesses on what he might score?

How high up is your camera? We were talking about putting ours up higher this weekend. I like the ides of them not being so visible. Great pics for sure of a great bull.

Nice Bull.  Sounds frustrating seeing him for a couple years and not getting a shot at him!

The camera is about 12 feet up, the bears would not leave it alone earlier this season, so I moved it out of their easy reach.  It takes three tree stand stakes to reach it, so pretty safe!

I will be looking for him in the late season, but they seem to move out after the rut.  We will see!

Here is the same bull from 2007 and 2008.  He is getting bigger.

I'd say 320.  He's got real good fronts, good thirds, but kind of weak backs.  If he's a 6 year old bull (?) he should be bigger next year.
