not the big one i wanted but it was him or none because he was 5 yards and the big one was 40 yards behind this one and another it was weird i found a spot in this hole elk were just goin nuts

ill put some more pics on there . it was pretty cool never used those t locks before but im sold first shot was five yards it just turned around shot it again thought i missed i know 5 yds it took off ran 50 yards hit a tree eye guards on both sides held it up another 5 pt bigger than it came in and started sparring with it

thanks 2 mile walk down down to him and pack a half mile through bleeping vine maple mile down a trail you know when you get older you think you would be smarter i had the crazy idea after we made to packs to the trail to do the mile in one my hunting partner said know way i couldnt do it just because he didnt want to 147 lbs of meat on my back no sitting just bent over saying to myself 46 aint that old i made it my hunting partner was 15 mins behind me i ask what was the problem he said he sat down and couldnt get up and that i was crazy. i like that feeling of weightlessness after you take that pack off to all the over 40 guy and girls that do this hats off to us all.its the passion of the sport and being in the woods not the kill ...but the burger is good

Yep when you are over 40, it is awesome to know we can still do it...
