Anybody know of any excellent Cougar taxidermist?  I know they can be tough to get right, and want the best quality mount I can get.  Any Ideas?

Having seen bucklucky's bobcat mounts i would not hesitate to take a cat his way, wish i knew about his work a few years ago..

That's the guy I was thinking of...

Can't wait to hear your story!!!

Michelle did a great job on my rug, we had some miscommunication about schedule, and I'd have rather not been so involved in the decisionmaking, but the end result was VERY professional.

I would take it to Charlie. He's so good at cats it's kinda spooky!! You won't be disapointed.

MuleySniper hit it right on the button.  Phil Soucy is the most well known cat taxidermist in the world.  Unfortunately his prices and completion time deter many.  I've waited for years to find the right taxidermist to do a couple cats for me, and Bucklucky sealed it up when he posted his bobcat pics.  Glad I'm line with him! ;)

Well I just got off the phone with Phil, very informative guy!  I learned a couple things from him in our 10minute conversation.  Ive decided Im am going with Phil, sorry Charlie maybe I bring a big old Montana buck to ya in November.  Phil definetly knows his cats, he did 75 cougars alone last year.  The only thing is its a 18month wait or less if he hires a new guy from North Carolina.  That gives me plenty of time to save the remainder of the money though which is a plus, then Ill have hopefully a world class mount, and probably want to hide my other full Cougar mount :chuckle:  Thanks for the info fellas

Dave Jones is an old friend of mine, havent talked to him in a few years though.  He did my first cougar I killed a 110lb female, I had him life size it, it looks good just never have had the rocks finished out on it.  The price was right also!  Tell Dave that Petker the kid from Sedro says hay, hell know who your talking about, Ive fished with him on the Cowlitz before as well.
