« on: September 20, 2009, 11:38:20 AM »
Well... with a elk call! he came in 20 yrds in the brush right behind me! Scared me so bad I couldn't stop shaking. I pulled back on my bow but couldnt get a good enough shot to take. he watched me for about 1 min before he took off running. I still havn't got my first bear. but that was scarry man!  :bash:

Sounds exciting to me! I have always wanted to do that. Maybe next time keep calling and get him in a little closer  :chuckle:

What a rush!!!!I have yet to accomplish that......I now own an "official" BTKR bear call so I have no excuse.
"THEY COME TO EAT" eh?  I can't think of a better way to take a bear....kudos to those who have done it.
