I'm just gonna say how thankfull I am to be able to hunt and enjoy the wild. We live in a great country still , even if we complain about the government , thanks to all my fellow hunters for staying strong and upholding our right to hunt and for the servicemen and woman who lay there lives down for us every day. USA still rocks . please tell what your thanfull for . oh yeah thanks to my wife for not giving me the boot for hunting so much :) :)

Good Thread

I'm Thankfull for God, Family, Health, and to work and play in the outdoor industry. Being able to work my mules all fall is very pleasureable. And so far we have not had a client that we could not satisfy. When I guided in Idaho it was a real issue trying to keep the hunters happy.  Here Sas and I deal with far less numbers so by the time the season rolls around we have communicated with them several times.  Makes meeting them real easy. Makes our job a pleasure.

While I was out elk hunting specifically, there were numerous things going through my head on the topic of being thankful.

For one, being able to spend as much time as I do outside.
Two, being in the middle of the huge elk heard on the second day was both awe-inspiring and humbling.
Three, seeing "chuckles" the bull come into the coyote call and then later watching him chase his cows was incredible.
Fourth, the company.
Fifth, not breaking anything while out and about...I still have other seasons to hunt!
On and on.

We have our problems for sure as a country, but there is still no other place I would rather be.

I too am thankful I only have 1 1/2 days of work left before I go into the hills after elk for 9-10 Days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :drool: :drool: :chuckle:    :IBCOOL:
