Slugs for Deer...
« on: October 13, 2009, 08:23:04 PM »
I live on Whidbey Island and figured I would give it a try for deer this year on the late hunt if I am not successfull for the regular season.  Since it is a firearms restricted unit I got a fully rifled barrel for my Rem. 870.  Was wondering if any of you have any on game experiences or recommendations on specific slugs that have worked for you.  I plan to buy a few different boxes of slugs and see what groups well, but would like to narrow down my selection to a few that have performed well for others.
