Green Dot maps?
« on: September 26, 2009, 05:47:02 PM »
Do you know if DNR or WDFW make those Green Dot maps anymore?  They were great, with topo info on them, etc.  I put in one call and someone (who didn't inspire a lot of confidence) said "Nope, they don't make them anymore."

Anybody know for sure?

I can't say for sure but after doing a quick search I found this on their site:

http://www.dnr.wa.gov/Publications/amp_rec_ahtanum_greendot_dec2008.pdf

I assume if they have this map they must produce others in the same format.  Beyond that, I have no further advice.  If no one offers any more concrete information in this board you might have some luck in the general discussion forum.

I picked up a couple for two different wildlife areas in the WDFW Ellensburg office just last week. So yes, they definitely are still available. Call the regional office for whatever area you're needing the map for.
