I like your idea but it would have to be a mulie/blacktail tag and a whitetail tag. if everyone had a tag that gave them only the mule deer option it would put that much more pressure on our already over pressured mulie herds. but there are definitely enough whitetail to give out extra tags for them.

That sounds like something were they would combine the black tail and mule deer. segregate the multi branched from the single branched deer.

I would be down with an extra 100 dollar tag to shoot another deer.

I seriously hope that someone on this site draws that tag this year.

I'm with you Huntnphool, so do I.

I can guarantee it won't be me, the 4 tickets I bought last year are going towards the moose tag this year. I had my chance. :chuckle:

I just did a cursory look at the WDFW site (OK, a glance, got a crappy connection tonight in a hotel) and I couldn't find the price of the raffle "tickets".  How much are they?  I haven't bought these yet, but after 300's story this past year, I definitely plan to.

$4.93 each, way better than the $15K the Gov guys pay, but it's all relative.

Thanks .300.  I enjoyed your endeavor, I would have had a tough time passing on some you described.  I am new to the site, I am going to try and PM you, have a question for you.

Woudn't see that the whitetail option would be as fun since you can pretty much hunt them during the prime time anyway.

Ouch that hurts bone, LOL. well if it is true maybe i will hunt both this year.  ;)
