Filled my deer tag 4 days into the season.I got me a nice young forked horn.I probally would have passed him up if I wasn't going to hunt Montana in Nov.Two bear tags and a cougar tag left. :IBCOOL:

I haven't been out in WA, yet, so I still have my tags left: 2 deer, elk, bear, cougar, turkey.  And unfortunately still have Idaho Panhandle A Elk tag left, too.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

All tags unfilled as of now(elk, deer, bear, cougar). I too really enjoy deer hunting later in the year, but elk in the rut is unbeatable(if you are holding a big bull permit).

Late swakane (have multiseason deer)

Good luck in that late Swakane.......not like it used to be, there are to many damn people crammed into the unit for my liking, wich happens to be in my back yard!!  Hope for snow, as some of the guys wash out because they can't handle driving in that country without pooping their pants in fear of sliding off into god knows what, which is fine by me!!! :chuckle:

I've hunted there about 20 yrs.  Yes it was way crouded the last few years.  Hope loosing the "open for does" will improve the hunt.  I have seen some monster bucks if it has snow up high.  I LOVE hunting in snow.  Biggest deer I have harvested is ony a 3X3, but I keep trying!

I still have all of mine. After 12 days of hard elk hunting ,I still have a tag. I Called in a solid 5x6 for my dad to 30 yards but he didn't have a shot.We got video of it and a few other close call ins. Learned a lot more about elk this year and can't wait to get back out there.  Saw lots of elk and passed on more than a few deer(didn't want to waste elk hunting to pack out a deer). This gives me an excuse to get back out in Nov anyways!

My buddy has the multi elk tag and I am going to try to get the newbie on some bulls(he is kind of a lazy hunter). It will be his first muzzy hunt. By the looks of the last day I spent hunting,I am saying that the rut should still be in full swing.

BTW,the question was asked about who See's cougars? My dad got to see one dart across the road at about 40 yards from him this year while on the mtn bike so they are out there!
