Grant/Douglas county youth hunting question.
« on: September 27, 2009, 11:52:39 AM »
Have a 12yo who would like to see some bone this year.  Last season he hiked all over the high reaches of the Entiat and Chiwawa units and we never saw a single buck.  Had a member reply to another post last Spring about hunting in the Moses Lake area to try and help a kid fill his tag out, but somehow lost his info in my PM section.  I bow hunt so looking for opportunity for just him to harvest, I am the pack mule and spotter.  Any members own some farm land with deer problems, or maybe a buddy that does.  We live in Cle Elum and would hunt closer to home except our deer herds are suffering severe decline due to hair loss.  Anything would be appreciated, not looking for a monster, just something legal would be a start.  Thanks for any tips.
