TBW Traditional Mid-Season Tune-Up

Traditional Bowhunters of Washington once again presents the Mid-Season Traditional Tune-Up!
October 16-18, 2009
No-shooting-stakes! Try to locate 3-D animals while walking a flagged trail; spot one, pick a shooting window and loose your arrow! Find out later how many animals you failed to even see! It’s great practice and fun!
At the Cedar River Bowmen’s course near Black Diamond, WA
Free to camp.
Contact Dan; 360-893-1625
From State Route 169 turn on Enumclaw-Franklin road; go 1 mile and turn right at the gated road; stay to the right at the first fork.

I'd just like to remind everybody that it's about the hunting, not just the killing. In other words, it's about the total experience, the sport itself and the challenge involved. Bowhunting, done right, is a justifiable and honorable pursuit. Done for the wrong reasons, simply chalking up kills and seeking personal glory, it's taking away rather than giving back to a principled way of life that has to be experienced to be understood. Sounds fun. I'll miss it as I think we'll be in Wyoming during that time.

A hunt is the number one priority, Ray. When the day comes that you go to a TBW event you'll then be hooked.

Have been to a couple of shoots this year. I just don't usually spend the night. I can't wait until my little one is bigger so she can enjoy a good camping trip. It's coming soon.
