30, all for turning in poachers.  One of these years I will throw them into the hat for a good archery tag.

dang dude why not just try one of the rifle rut hunts in the blues next year if you have that many

I'm not much on rifle hunting for big game, especially elk.  I save the rifle for coyotes.  I will probably put in for an archery bull hunt in the blues next year since Margaret and Toutle have gone way down hill.

its too bad you couldnt put in and say i want to use 20 points or something, i would imagine 20 would just about guarantee you an archery tag, it would be nice if you could save a couple

Well about the next best thing to that would be for him to put in with a partner and split the points. Yeah it would be kind of a shame to use 30 points for a permit that could probably be drawn with only 10.
