Hey, I know a picture is supposed to be worth a thousand words or so they say, but a dead coyote is worth at least 5 bucks. Shoot em for crying out loud  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Well, Varmintventilater and I went out this morning. I had one coming right in to the call but he must have caught wind of us and did an about face. Last time I saw him he was standing on a ridge some 400 plus yards out and I didn't have time to get glass on him.

So we moved to try another spot about 1/2 mile or so away and VV killed this one at 180 yards with his 6.8 and 110 V-Max bullets.

One more for Team SBA 01-09-2010 and the first for 2010.
Checkin' wind and makin' smoke.

Two more for Team Lamar...

Both Females.

I rang the dinner bell and this little female came in to 190 yds then decided she didn't like the lunch menu and headed back the way she came, she stopped broadside at 234 yrds for one more last look.  :bdid:

Good going guys! The pelts have been real nice lately, wish I had a use for them and somewhere to hang'em. Most however have been pretty well ventilated with some nasty exit wounds.

Wade, did you guys have to deal with the freezing rain this morning like us guys. That was kind of a mess. Hopefully tomorrow will be better :guns: Maybe I'll get to shoot at something  :hunter:

I was wet and fairly cold.  I got home, warmed up before I took any pics.  I don't know about you guys but I've yet to get much response to howls.  I'm scratching my head.  Yesterday evening is the first time in about 4 months that I've heard em from my back yard.  Maybe it will pick up......it's got to.
