Now, now....

I call my self a tad better than average, no more.  I am damn certain SEVERAL guys on here are leap years ahead of me as far as skill in calling.  Mostly I use my Foxpro Fx3, can't take much credit for that......

Swag might not be able to keep his mouth shut on this one but my shooting skills make up for some of my calling deficiencies  8)

I'm not sure it has been officially posted but Swag is now part of Team Lamar.  Also, like some have stated, it's not too hard to shoot accurately when you keep em all penned up like I do.   :IBCOOL:

The best part about a "competition" like this one is that it is for fun.  It keeps a lot of the BS out of it and allows it to be what it should.  People sharing common passions and past times as well as getting to know some fantastic people.

Swag--how about this?

That is fabulous!!! Now I would love to say that it was something the computer did, but I am fairly sure it was something I did.  What was I doing wrong?

Two more for Team Lamar, both females.  Anyone know how to do a NON-rain dance?  I'd love for it to dry out some.

So many things come to mind in response to this.... :liar: Both with his calling :fishin: as well as his shooting :hunt2:
It is best summarized by "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while"..  You cant knock his success...

But he is definitely right about this contest...  I have been more excited about participating in this contest than any derby I have participated in..  It truly is about the celebration of the sport.

The real question should be how many rounds :mgun2: for each coyote...   :dunno:

If I am going to be perfectly honest he dose have an unbelievable ability to pull off some spectacular shots.. LUCK!!!!!!!  His true secret Is... I Quote "his eagle eyes." If you believe that load ......

I am with you guys I think his true talent is the ability is to pen them up on his way home......

Its been slow at work so i decided to help Team Sagebrush out a bit today (got off my lazy @#$). Third set of the day I was calling a big over sagebrushed draw, after approx. 9 minutes there was a pair about 70 yards below me, by the time i could raise the rifle they bolted, i followed one by eye out to about 300 yards, was very tough to see the danged things.  After he disappeared i decided to start bawling again, the craziest thing happend, he started coming back in!!
He was heading to my left, trying to get wind, finally after squeaking for about 3 minutes, they were both sitting clear to my left at 85 yards, dumped the first one dead center chest, the second ran about 10 yards further and stopped broadside, big mistake.:IBCOOL:  Both were males, first one was around 30lbs, second probably about 26.

On my last set of the day, after another 10 minute calling session, i got a little bitty thing to come in, female, must have been no more then 18lbs. torched her broadside, right in the shoulder  :on at 80 yards

Nice cat....

I've never had the chance to kill a bob.  Wish we had em down here.  Maybe if I work on thinning the yotes a few may show up  :dunno:
