It snowed in Cheney so I was hoping to have the yotes stand out good but there was no snow where I hunted. Lots of wind and a little rain= cold. I did see 1 from the truck but he was on the move.

Went out for a short stint this morning, and saw this young male trying to slip away unnoticed at 80 yds.  The 22-250 with 55 gr. Nosler BT decided that wasn't going to happen.  One more for SBA.

Took a shot at this one at 130yds and he ran like a bat out of hell.  I ran around the corner to see if I could get another shot but never saw him.  So I sat there kicking myself for another 15mins for missing.  Before I left I went and glassed the canyon one more time (Where he had run) and found him laying about 150yds from where he was shot!  Funny, I have a hard enough time finding them when I know they're down.  I've never had one run after the 7mm "brought the pain".

Nice to see you keep the team alive shaneman!  I got a few pics to post.  Question is, will it be enough for us to overtake the two slaying crews???........................................

well i went out today to check out a new property to try and hunt and had enough time to set up for a last minute stand just before dark. well i had these two coyotes come in separately on the same stand. the first one came in the first minute of the stand and i shot him at 8 yards, the next one came in about 5-10 minutes later and i shot him at about 80 yards. sorry about the picture clarity, cell phone picture.

i went out again this morning to make a quick morning hunt before class. i must be going to the perfect spots for a stand because this one came bombing in on the first sequence. he came in to about 150 yards and then just started barking at me. i didnt let him get any closer than that, and let the 55 gr vmax do the dirty work. the real challenge this mornin was the wind, it was a pain.

Nice looking coyote Firecrotch.  Wow I'm impressed, kill a coyote before going to class.  I usually just rolled over and went back to sleep and missed my first class. (Along time ago) :chuckle:
