god dangit! called one in and shot it today but could not find it. i shot a little far back and it curled up in a U and was biting the wound and he ran a little ways and was out of sight. i thought cool hes down. (becuase this was in some tall pasture grass). but i searched around until it got dark and no coyote to be found.
I tumbled him..

:IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: I guess now it's official, I'm a team player. Thanks to Big10gauge and tbradford for their efforts in making this happen and thanks to all of you guys for giving Big10 a GOOD time :chuckle: over his request. I certainly do appreciate this very much and I hope to do my part for the final two + months of this "FOR FUN" contest for Team Sagebrush Assassins.

I'll be heading out this weekend to try busting a dog or two in an attempt to keep SBA the defending champs here but as we all know, some days are chicken and some days are chicken *censored*e.

Again, thank you all for your understanding and allowing me to participate.

Gary

NO FAIR !!! Thats stacking the deck.  :chuckle: All Gary has to do is shoot out his window.

Now Matt, it's not quite like that......Okay, so it really is like that.  I actually did kill one from my reloading room window one day and several more from my deck but that was cause they was trespassing.  :chuckle:

I hope you and your family are doing well.

Jerry, it good to see you here. I've read some of your post on other boards and have always been intrigued of your vast knowledge. Welcome friend :hello:

Man I can't wait til Friday morning, I think the 6.8 is going to get a workout. VarmintVentilator was just informed today that some nearby farmers are having problems with coyotes trying to coax their dog out into the field. So we were asked to set up on the pasture where the coyotes hang out. This could be good.

Jerry,

It was 46 degrees today and it rained all day yesterday so all the snow is gone. It's nuttin' but fresh mush out there right now and I'm hopin' that it stays dry and cold at night so I don't slip and fall on my tush just getting to a stand. Looks like we'll have snow next week sometime though.

Crunchy?  I'm socked in with fog down here and not a flake of snow.  It was all freezing rain.  Visibility is under 100 yards but I did see a blue patch in the sky today for about half an hour, then the fog rolled in again.
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.
