After 10 am we couldn't call a dog in, seemed they were just too lazy to get out of their beds. Did have a pair interested, looked like the male wanted to come in but the female had some doubts and left. And as a dutiful soon to be father, he decided he better follow along.

ive noticed the same thing, once the sun starts warmig up a little bit you couldnt pull a dog out of its bed for anything

OK - OK   Here you go  Falfire.  Went out at 4:45 pm, into some winter wheat  stubble which is really loud when it hasn't rained for a few days.  Saw just this young males head sticking up at 70 yds. so I decided to shoot offhand (that was stupid).  Went back to my pickup, grabbed my gear, walked back to the area where he had kicked in the after burners and called him in to 270 yds. All this happened within a 20 minute time span.  Oh and if you look real close, I have on my natural camo clothes as well.  How's that for LUCK ---- Dude   8)

Yep, I have to use "Just for Men" hair coloring to add the grey in for coyote hunting.  :chuckle:

Lost one today.  I'm beating myself up a bit.  I thought he was done.  Knocked him down, did some slow spins and then got his feet and..............

I should have put another one in him.  I guess I still have some instinct from when I was selling hides.  Damn....fatal shot but hit him deep, just, going to be a long night for him.

Damn.
