Tonight I am taking out my other buddy who has yet to fill his muzzy tag..We'll see if we can keep the streak going..3 bucks in 3 days?

5 minutes to dark we had a 27" Hawgzilla at 130 yards broadside....MISS!  That was my buddies 3rd miss in 9 days.  He felt bad....we were close.  That is hunting..With a full moon and wind storm we had last night the deer were on the move tonight.  We saw over 135 deer.  3 legal bucks.  My other buddy called and he got his buck this morning a nice 4 pt.  So out of 6 hunters 3 got deer (all 4 pts.)  Great Season.

I am going out to the site my buddy shot at hawgzilla..just to triple check for any signs of a hit..I dreamed about the shot he took all night...It seeed like a great shot. ???  It is worth checking out though so I can get some sleep.

Congrats Eric! Thats a nice group of bucks! I am going to be hunting with my wife over in your neck of the woods in Nov. with archery, hope there are still some bucks left after the rifle season!

Just got the photo of my other hunting buddies buck..he got his the last day in the same area we were hunting..He is a hunt-wa member Gadwall..shot it on the run..Nice buck.

Finnman...There were lots of small bucks this year..but if you hunt hard you will find one..That late archery hunt is always fun..hope all is well.
