I believe it is the 1st year of a general...or even a draw hunt in the Yukon..this was not a canned hunt, governers tag, or private dealio, dude bought tag, went hunting, killed tripleXL bull elk.

I like it and thought the immensity of this bull was noteworthy.

This is the first known bull taken during from the first elk season in the Yukon Territories. Guesses have him exceeding the B&C minimum for non-typical. More details as they become available.

One thing is for sure there may be a new provincial records this year, possibly in both categories
