yakima firing center buck?
« on: October 02, 2009, 01:47:19 PM »
I don't know if any one has seen this pic or not, I didn't want to post it if it's been on here already. I heard about it during archery elk and just got sent a pic of it. With all the photo shop work done these days, who knows if it's real?

there's been 2 really nice YTC archery bucks taken this year that were posted on here.

If your talking about the one Mark shot on Labor Day is ended up being #2 for Typical Mule Archery, he was also the only successful archer to harvest an Elk on YTC. I work on the base and have seen several nice bucks come through where I work. If you have a Muzzle loader or rifle tag for the base and you have the time to pass on the first buck you see you will get the chance to harvest a great buck. There are going to be a lot of great bucks killed this year.
God Bless,
Scott

There are pics on this site from both Bucks, I have not seen a pic of Mark's Elk thou.  This one is #2 in the State I believe and the other young Man Mule was pretty damn good too.

that is a really nice buck but how can you guys be so sure it is no 2 in the state as it cant be officially scored until it dries for 60 days, maybe a different scorer will find an extra inch or 2 and make it no 1

The buck is definatly for real. I have seen it, and I was even lucky enough to see his bull, which I believe will score around 320-330.

Both the bucks from out there are absolute hogs!  Did they really give out 50 modern rifle tags out there this year???  I heard that somewhere; and if they did, there should be plenty more pics to come....
