I go deer hunting...then when I get back everything has settled down, my buddies know where the birds are, and then I get to go shoot ducks.  I have and still will jump shoot some ditches/creeks/ponds for ducks while deer hunting in the middle of the day with my shotgun...

Already got the decoys out and started working on one of this years hunting blinds.  I got pics of it but can never get them to work on here.  My lab thinks he's ready to all i got to do is get the shotgun out and he goes nuts.  He forgets that he is ten years old and cant hunt like he did but he still tries just as hard.

Was out yesterday and seen close to 200 mallards and and another 100 or so of an assortment. Sat down and just listened to talk for about an hour.......... Yes, I'm ready for the season.

I've been getting the new boat (14 foot livingston) painted and a blind built. Went down towards the mouth of the Columbia river last weekend and we saw alot of ducks. The low tide opening morning is going to be tricky but we will manage. May have to leave the dock around midnight to avoid getting caught by the tide out in one of the mud flats. Can't wait.

I might whack a deer opening day, then agian i might knock some ducks out of the sky. Still not too sure, I am almost positive I can bag a deer after school during the week, and there will be way less pressure than the weekend
