Found these pics on-line and thought would share with you'll..Shows that you can never be to careful..From story with pics it appears that the shooter didn't know anther hunter was in area and thought he was a deer..Just another reminder of..BE SURE OF TARGET..

The pictures has been around for some time now.
The actual story is...
Two guys were hunting together, they spotted a deer and the guy in front ducked down so the other archer could shoot over him.. sight window was clear, but arrow path was not. he was shot point blank.

Here is a PERFECT exaple of three-bladed broadheads' inability to penetrate bone.

Do you think there is a law suit in someone's future?

Those are some amazing photos. I find it hard to believe that the broadhead wouldn't have gone completely through at point blank range. Either way that guy is really lucky and they both are not too bright.

Did any one else notice all the crap lying around in that hospital.  Looks like they took him to a machine shop to have the arrow removed.  :dunno:

The arrow was still on the string when it hit the guy. If it was unloaded at full speed, it would have come out in his face depending om the poundage of the bow.. BTW, I put a thunder head clean through an elks skull at 60 yds.
