Hitmans south rainier buck
« on: October 09, 2009, 10:28:07 PM »
Well we backpacked up into the mountains in unit 513 for elk camp seen plenty of bulls but no shots, on sunday oct 4th i was hiking my brother inlaw out of the woods because he was only staying for the weekend, he wasnt hunting just there to hang out with the guys, well we were about 75 yards out of camp when i told him to stop because a had seen a bull. To bad it was a spike broad side at 30 yards, well after i figured out i couldnt shoot it i kept hiking out but i only made it 30 yards where i seen the elk when a buck jumps out, all i seen was rack and it took off i walked after it to get a shot but couldnt get a clear lane due to big timber, when the buck got about 75 yards uphill it stoped behind a tree, with only a small window at the vitals, i took a deep breath and let the 300 grain sst bullet rip from my knight Big Horn. Perfect hit heart shot ran about 30 yards and hit the dirt, first kill from my new Muzzle 3x3 blacktail.

That will be a good eating buck!  Congrats.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
