What guide are you going with? The guide should be able to educate you on judging goats. The are a tough animal to judge.Good Luck

I've been talking with them at the Bighorn show every year and they seem like good people. Pretty straightforward, I like that.

Where's your pics??

I have a few pics with me at work right now but they were taken with my phone. My other pics are at home and I am terrible at trying to put them on the sight. If want to see some pics then send me a pm with email.

In Wyoming I believe you have to draw in order to buy the doe tags for the same unit you draw in. I could be mistaken but that seemed to be what we did this year. We could have purchased 4 or 5 doe/fawn tags along with the buck tag. 34 dollars each doe/fawn tag.

That's the way I understood it too when I researched WY earlier this year.  I think maybe the OTC tags Yelp is talking about are the leftovers from units that didn't get enough applicants.

Actually, doe/fawn licenses are all independent of the any antelope license.  You could potentially have six different licenses for six different hunt areas.  All antelope licenses in Wyoming are limited quota, by hunt area.

Most public land hunt areas usually draw out in the license draw; private land areas are generally undersubscribed, with licenses available first-come, first-served after a certain date.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Just got back this afternoon from Mt and Wy. Antelope in both states and deer in Wy. Great time all around, filled all my tags. Have to get the pictures downloaded in the next couple of days and a few stories in here.  :IBCOOL:

Been gone a month and great to start to catch up here on the forum.
