Probably the best tag that I have ever drawn.  I have walked down a handful of cougars on snowshoes - got a hound permit finally - I LOVE cat hunting and this will be the first time that I get to run them with dogs.

Only problem, is that I don't have hounds.  I live in Ellensburg so I live close to Chelan County, but I need to hook up with a dog owner that wants to run a cat.  Anyone interested?

I would hope that a guy would secure a pack of dogs before he put in for a special permit.

I don't have a problem with anyone running dogs for you. But isn't it a little arrogant to put in for a permit without the means to successfully hunt.

Man do I agree with you on this. It just ticks me off to hear about a person putting in for a great tag wether it be deer elk
sheep and so on. Just to find out that they do not even have a clue about what they are doing let alone going to do when they get the tag!!!  I don't think a person without hounds should be able to take up space in this draw. Also about walking down a hand full of cats on foot any hounds man knows that this is a bit stretched. Your best bet to get some help would be to not try and talk youself up to much because if this is true you don't even need dogs.. sorry if this upsets some guys .
