Wife just called to say it is snowing very lightly in Cle Elum!  If it would only stay.  Supposed to warm up later in the week.

yay, forecasting 18F where I'm going this weekend!

Last Feb I hunted snow geese in Missouri. It was 40F the whole month of feb. we arrived, flash blizzard and all the sudden windchill is down to -16F (thats NEGATIVE!) with us in layout blinds in 6 inches of snow!! the week we left, it jumped back up to 50s-60s and the snow was gone the next day.

thats the way things work out, if you havent noticed the last few years of general deer seasons. it will look promissing the week before the season, then opening day is another story.

Well at least in my neck of the woods it's not going to be in the high 60s or 70s. It's been real cold around here.  Expecting snow tommorrow. No it won't stay but in will stay in the high county which is great news.
