Takin' Pathfinder Jr out.  Got a little bachelor herd scoped out.  Public Land though...  We'll have to beat the crowds. :bash:
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

This will be the first year neither of my boys will be able to make it deer hunting camp in over 10 years. My 18 year old has a new job, and my 15 year old has to have his grades above a "C" before he can take a week off of school, and that is not going to happen this year, lol.

Enjoy it while you can everyone. There will come a day that they will not be able to hunt with you and you will feel like a huge part of deer camp is missing.

Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

Ain't that the truth.  I hope to get at least two more years out of my youngest.  My oldest lives in CO and my 20 year old lives 6 miles away but, doesn't speak to me much.  The youngest is already talking about joining the Air Force in two years so there will be a big hole in my hunting heart soon!  I may have to start taking out young kids who either don't have a father or kids who's families don't hunt.

thought I would add a couple of shots from last years stand,
my now 13 year-old girl with a jawbreaker in her mouth

and my now 10 year-old boy playing with the grass cause he's getting bored

my girl got a shot at a nice 4x4 whitetail after these shots were taken but since her brother was making too much noise the does had us pegged and the buck was not coming any closer, so she had a long 240 yard shot. 240 is not long for her anymore after some practice.

Taking the daughter after her first whitey, and the nephew (8) on his first deer hunt where he can kill one.
