Huntnphool- Fidalgo Taxidermy did the mount. Didn't they do a nice job? I do my own these days but I miss visiting with them at their shop. I do see them at the MDF and RMEF banquets every year though.

Ah, well that makes perfect sense then, Garth and Tammy have done every one of my mounts, no wonder I liked it. Still a beautiful job though.

I have one too huntingcowboy, nice mount.  I have got to finish the mount so I can get him on here.  Idabooner and I saw him together.  I mounted his sheds.  Those bucks do look like they are related.

Saw about a 23 or 24 inch wide 2point this year up by wenas lake.  Looked at him at 50yards with 10x50 swarovski's.  Couldn't put a thrid point on him.  He ran over a ridge, and when my buddy and I got over the ridge we spotted him again.  Then we watched 4 or 5 guys shot at him. >:(  They were along ways away from him.  We figured 700 yards or more.  Makes me wonder how many slick 2points get killed each year.

Those big 2's on the East side forced me to buy a good spotter.  I love the late archery hunt near Loomis but I hate it when I spend an hour or two putting the sneek on a big 2 point.

We have seen a bunch of genetic 2xonly2's up in Chiwawa and Entiat lately. One in particular, I am still looking for some of his sheds each year, cant find one of them...  :'(

Here are 3 big forky's that I've taken over the years they are all Blacktail.  All were big bodied mature bucks, each one of them supprized me when I walked up on them.

1st is a 2 x 2, 20" wide

2nd is a 2 x 3, 16" wide

3rd is a 2 x 4, 17" wide, this years late archery buck.

Makes me wonder whats next a 2 x 5?

Here's a 2x3 I got up in Winthrop back in 03'  Not the biggest in terms of rack, but check out the body on this dude.  Look at the head in the second picture.  The thing was just a brute......

That's a big frigging deer. I'd guess over 250, probably closer to 300? Nice tall rack too.
