I tried some in my swede and got pretty decent groups but settled on the Barnes TSX. The groups with that were outstanding. Tried them with my 260 but they do the weirdest thing for me. I get holes damn near touching then I get a flier that goes 6 inches away. It irritates the hell out of me. I bagged them for now, I may play again this winter after the seasons all shut down. All I hear is how great they are but like I said the fliers I got were just too far off. Twist may have something to do. The swede and 260 are 1:9 and it seems to me they recommend 1:8 for the bullets I was trying. I just didn't know that till I got them in the mail.
I've always got very good results with the partitions. I still use them in My 260 and my daughters 260 as well as my 350. I've been using Barnes TSX and TTSX quite a bit though. They are exceedingly accurate for me.

a buddy was using them (bought into the whole "best of the west" BS) in his 7mm rm and they were decent groups but only at longer ranges 200+ up at 100yds they were pretty crappy! and that was with a bunch of different receipes. but the accubond is what he ended up using darn near hole on hole!

I know a lot of long distance shooters shoot the Berger's. I am going to try them in my 300 RUM this winter.

I'm shooting the 115gr's in my 257wby. Great accuracy and the BC is way up there. I dont think I would trust the thin jackets to hold up well on game but so far they look unbeatable for punching rocks at long distance.

I shoot berger bullets and they perform flawlessly. I shoot the 190's in my 300 WM and I would put it up against any varmint rig. It CONSISTENTLY shoots sub 1/2 MOA at 100 yards and much better at longer ranges. I shot two groups that were under 2" at 600 yards last weekend. If I do my part, it will hold 1/4 MOA at 100; although, this was much easier when I shot the 168's. I have only killed one big game animal with them, but it worked perfectly. Put down my wyoming mule deer from 645 yards with a 140 out of 6.5x284 last month. BTW, my rifles where build around the bullet. Optimum twist for bullet and match grade barrels. You also may have to adjust seating depth to get extreme accuracy. Mine are jammed and still fit comfortably in the magazine, another plus to having a custom barrel throated for the desired overall length of your cartridge.

I also use the 175 VLDs out of a 300 RUM. Great accuracy, and havn't shot an animal yet to find out that end of them.

i shoot the 185grn vld match out of my 300wsm and i love them. i havent taken any big game with them yet but im getting sub .25 moa at 100yrds and i have shot a 2.8 inch group at 800yrds with them this summer. just try them. every gun shoots bullets different and you will never know till you try them.

I use the 52gr Berger Match in my 22-250 and the 185 Hunting VLD in a 300WSM. In the 300 Wsm, the Bergers were dissapointing at 100 yards with .8" 3 shot groups. When I move out to 300 yards though, the groups have been almost the same size (.9")!
I've only shot out to 300 yards so far, but I'm pretty happy with the results at this point.
I'm not sure if I'll use them for deer or not. They shoot very well, but until I hear more first hand experience about their performance I'll save them for the coyotes and shooting steel. I did hit a rabbit at 275yds with one though and that little critter didn't take a step.
