 Nice job Ray, that is a tough feat to accomplish, congrats. Antelope is some of the best game I've ever eaten .

Thank you. He does eat real good. No sage taste at all. We have made about 5 or 6 dishes at home in the past week and replaced beef in the recipe with pronghorn. I was quite surprised how good the first taste was. In fact I should have probably shot a few more. I would have had I known it was that good.

Ray, do you use new age carbon/aluminum arrows with those bows or are they made from wood as well?

I shot it with carbon. I also have cedar shafts which I have used in the past as well.

Carbon Penetrates better than my cedar . Partly because of diameter differences and this was the first animal which I have shot with carbon shafts. However if I can find a reliable supply of IPE shafts I would like to give those a whirl.
