Actually the two day break is to allow time for me to clean all my ducks, they really stack up... :P

NO Actually actually these are the best two days to hunt, all the skybusters are at home....

yeah now that i know why it is there i am all for it. i never had any idea there was a set amount of days they could set the hunting season for. i have taken 4 new hunters out in the last 3 years during the youth hunt and all have got their first ducks as well. my original comment was about fish and wildlife taking away hunting days to just limit time in the field. kinda like with our cougar hunting as well.

They should do a gap on the snow geese.  And open another 2 week season in February.  That would be a kick.  Give them about 2 weeks between the close of seson and the openner again.  It potentially could be a good shoot.  Maybe it would also help push them north and give the farmers some relief.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Here Here! good idea  ;) It wouldn't be a full blown conservation season, but it would extend our bird hunting in WA.
