A nice big 2 pt. we saw today, sorry I didn't get pic. of the dead 2 pt. today, I wasn't in that area.
Please note I take these pic's of bucks with my camera that has an awesome zoom so I can see if they are bucks, I have cheap bino's that don't show well at all.

Today was a very exciting day for me
I took a shot at a buck for the very first time ever, I actually got in close enough to a small 3 pt. buck that I shot at and missed, it was a rushed shot, he was getting nervous and his doe was leaving the area and he was getting ready to go over the hill, I led him too much and shot under his neck, but it was a clean miss
It was just after 4 P.M. tonight and even though I missed I am so happy I got to release an arrow at a buck. My husband is doing this
because he hasn't been able to get past the 70 yd. mark because of does. So I got close today, maybe I'll get it right tomorrow
Goodnight from Ardenvoir!

If anyone went home from Entiat with an unfilled tag, get back before the morning! Last night was soooo cold and the moon was shining bright, the deer fed and moved all night. No one that I saw and talked to had seen any deer today, then all of a sudden at about 2:30 a whole herd came thru the trees, I was about 150 yds. downhill from them, ton's of does and 3 big huge bucks. Now I know what a Entiat Monster Mulie looks like! So we followed them and they went high and we lost sight of them, so we went back down and went to another area to talk to someone and there was another big herd, more does and 3 3x3's and a little 2pt. that was at 4:20. I have never seen so many deer in one place. I took a pic of one buck that os decieving check it out, I'll post as soon as I can get it uploaded. I only got one buck because the herds were moving at a pretty good pace, I hope tomorrow is a wonderful day:) Goodnight from Ardenvoir!

We tried to take him down, but the wind was swirling so bad up there they must have winded us and snuck into the pines and they were gone. But we hope to whack a couple tomorrow they are herded up and are running does:) Who knows maybe there will be one with more points
Thanks, I am having fun, this is the adventure of my young bowhunting career!
