Let it snow....! The deer are on the move. This should be a great hunt for ya. Might need chains if it gets a good amount of snow. Good luck!

Sandy, if we get significant snow or conditions are wrong, please use care and don't be afraid to use your chains. I'm not sure where Coachcw pointed you to but I grew up over there and have hunted that unit a bit. Missed a sure 180 buck about 3 years ago when I had the entiat C. Fog was to thick for the range finder and I guessed wrong. Arrow went right under his chest. Was a monster buck that I had watced for 3 days and finally walked him down. Oh well. Check your p'ms.

Hey Pete! How's it going? Ya I have a place in mind, up Potato Ck. there is a large place just about 1/4 mile off the Entiat River Rd. that could hold a few camps, another about 1/2 up and a bunch up past the 1st. left. I kinda want to camp low in case of snow, I don't want to get snowed in w/trlr.lol What did you have in mind? In case those are taken. I'm going over the night of the 19th. so I can scout in hunter orange and listen for gun fire on the 20th. last day for rifle:) (And see what they got for antlers,LOL) I'm taking rummy bears to help me sleep ;)I hate having a sleeping disorder, I'm forcing myself up at 4:30 and to bed at 9:30. Making ton's of food and freezing it so I don't have to cook, just heat up
Good luck in late season, I'll update from Entiat. And if I get something(fingers crossed) this site will be the first to know, then my parents

the buck we seen was a 165 main frame buck with a few junk points and about a 8 inch single drop off the mail beam on the right side! he was for sure a shooter! We saw lots of 150 and 160 bucks, hold out they will come.

Heres a buck I killed in 2006. Not the biggest but my first archery deer and it worked out perfect.
