Why????
« on: October 18, 2009, 09:29:29 AM »
Why are pepole so F-ing stupid. I took my wife out to our normal deer hunting spot last night. We arrived and the problems started. My little brother used the four wheeler the day before and didn't leave the key in my truck. So i had the worlds biggest paper weight. Stupid thing number one! Next i notice that the members of my camp are all at camp. Why? Because, the land that borders the ground we camp on, which also happens to be where we shoot most of the deer, is now posted, and there is a guy on a four wheeler patrolling it. Apparently, they had some problems with the muzzleloaders and have now shut the land down. Grrrrr...... I F-ing hate this crap. I'm so tired of loosing land because other people do stupid *censored*. This place was a Paradise for taking a wife hunting. Easy walking , plenty of deer, and no other hunters. Now i guess i will just have to take her into the madness and hope for the best. I'm going to spend allot of time talking to the land owner this next year and see if i can change his mind about shutting the place off entirely. Hell, I'll even work for him if that's what it takes. Anyway, I'm sure this has happend to many of you i just thought i would share. Loosing land sucks!!!

Lat year our group took 3 deer off this place in 2 hours. Grrrrr...... I'm so pissed!

My best coyote spot was like that. The farmer told me the first year that he had problems in the past letting people hunt but let me on his land. I went out there two times that year and got a coyote each time. The next year I went back and he said there are just too many tresspassers and he didn't want anyone out there so he could call the sheriff if he seen anyone out there. I respect his decision because of the damage these others had done to his crop and machinery but it still sucks that people can't respect landowners and their property.

Sorry to hear.  I showed up to one of my best spots after not hunting it for a couple years (3 1/2 drive) to find it was gone - gone! - unregognizable, now a housing development with lamp posts and the whole nine.   :bash:

The really stupid thing is that i scouted it a few times this summer and three days before the season. They must have changes the signs on friday.

THat is Why???? I hunt the west side. Never seen another hunter in the field and enough deer.

I would rather cut my wrists than live on the west side again!!!

I hear ya!

I packed out half a garbage bag of empty cans and milk jugs some dumb a$$es left after shooting their guns. I was so mad after driving towards where I was headed this morning with seeing the garbage on the way in, I never even took the trigger lock of my gun let alone open the case.

I must've counted about 8 spots where people had stopped to shoot and just left paper targets in a pile, stapled to stumps, brass on the ground, you name it. Yet these will be the first people to complain when the "government" closes down public land to hunting when they think it's their own.

It sounds like what happened to our spot near Pullman.  There got to be too many people running all over the place on four wheelers and the owners shut off access.  Unless you have specific permission to use a four wheeler on private land, leave them at home.

Lat year our group took 3 deer off this place in 2 hours. Grrrrr...... I'm so pissed!
