Great Opening Weekend Of Deer Season!
«

What a great time out hunting! I was able to tag a thick, dark antlered 3x3 muley on opening day. My first shot went under him as he was doing the "hop" run down a shallow canyon. After the shot he "ran" down the canyon. I was able to connect on him using the .270 win on my second shot and he dropped! FF4607's Father used the range finder and it was 240yards from where I shot to where the deer dropped. FF4607, holding true to his quest for only shooting large quality bucks passed on a 3x3, and a 3x2 opening morning. He also passed on a good looking 4x4 on sunday morning. My brother got a 3x3 muley, nephew got a 3x4muley, niece filled her doe tag, friend got a 3x2, another friend got a 3x2, and another friend got a 3x3. We had a great time! I will post pics as they become available!

Congrats once again Corey, I see you didn't say anything about how much the wind was blowing. Nice shot once again. Here is another picture!

The wind sure was blowing hard and steady. Glad you folks were there to witness the shot FF4607! Without witnesses, no one would believe me! Looks like your pictures came out alot better!

Sounds like lots of action and animals. Thanks for sharing. BTW 240 yards is a nice poke

C-Money wanted me to post another deer that we got this weekend. It was taken by my sister's boyfriend on Sunday after C-money left. A nice 3x4.
