I wonder how much time you spent pre-season scouting the area to find such a nice Buck? Or did a friend show you the area? Now the whole crew is taking over the spot? so much for keeping good hunting areas on the down low!

Hey Marshal Mathers A.K.A. Eminem (above) :yike:,
the thing you don't know is that He only found this spot by joining me on my muzzleloading trip which I had scouted many times before. I found "the ridge" and spooked a huge buck at that location 2 weeks before hand. I had to fill my doe tag instead.
I admit that I do not own the animals, nor the public land; the buck he shot probably is not even the same one I saw. For that, I say "good job, Nice Buck! And great shot!"
I wouldn't have shown him the area if I didn't want him to hunt it. The problem is that he showed more people, and they will show more people....
..... Sooner than later a great hunting spot (that I discovered through research and hiking on & off season) becomes a not so great spot (like he mentioned [Greyback] probably because it is over hunted due to loose lips)
So for my hard work and research, it was a productive spot for both of us, but I receive no thank you from him. Instead; the biggest insult you can give to a friend/hunter; showing more people a good hunting spot which he was entrusted to enjoy alone.
that makes me the fool. Not again!

Nice buck. I remember the days when you could hunt grayback. Now you just go for a hike with your rifle. Or you hunt private land.
