Any Central Washington Goose hunters around
« on: October 19, 2009, 05:44:05 PM »
New to the site and was just trying to get a feeling if anyone hunts around the yakima valley to moses lake?  I will poke around and look to see if there are any other similar threads but the season is upon us and I am just looking to network a little.  We farm a fair amount of ground and I would like to see how other people are fairing in the area, and gain advice from other veterens to the sport.

i do alot of field hunting around moses for both ducks and geese. there are some pretty ood ones out there. you just need to start doing some door knocking to find ones that arnt leased or ones that people havnt already given permission to someone else

Yep knock on doors and ask permission.

We slammed the mallards last year out in the basin area.  My office partner owns a bunch of land out there and has some good connections.

Thanks,
I have been a part of the family hunt club and try to hit the wasteways later in the year but it seems that the hunting pressure has really gone op in the last 10 years.  I am just trying to find people that are interested in trading info ( not spots, areas ) for goose hunting in my area.  I also have killer goose hunts available later on in the season if people want to go, all I ask is to help with lunch and gas.  Well... if we are out there past lunch somethings wrong too.
