EBJ Hunt Winner Todd Smythe poses with his huge 7x7 bull, taken on the famed Hill Ranch in southern Colorado. Look at the long and massive beams on this great trophy bull!

WOW!  Now thats a damned nice bull.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

taken on the famed Hill Ranch in southern Colorado.

Taken on a Ranch, what happen to "fair chase, no fences".  Even if it isn't high fence it probaly is a Ranch that spands 1000s upon 1000s of arces that you have to pay to hunt.  Seems not very fair chase to me.  :dunno:

I don't know but the ranch could just be privately owned but completely not fenced in.  So same as forest to the animals but no access to a guy like me :)

yea about that the hill ranch is a huge private ranch that charges tons of money to hunt but there are no high fences, fair chase doesnt mean it has to be public land, i would venture to say most of the animals the eastmans shoot are on big money ranches

Not exactly sure but I think this is the same Ranch that is reffered to as the Ciela Vista, the same area that Kieth Burgess (from Primos Truth 10) killed that 396 Bull.  :dunno:

Looks like the Hill Ranch are top notch to me. I sure didn't see any cost to hunt the ranch.
Eastmans Journal is also top notch. There all about the hunters. Sure don't see Primos having hunt contest. And they do hunt the big $$$ ranches. It isn't to hard to figure out, a couple of the Primos guys are ready to have heart attacks walking to there stands. Don't see any of them with backpacks! Keep it up Eastmans!
Congrats on the bull!

Nice bull but I would be more impressed if it was with a bow on public land.

AMEN to that! Assuming it's still fair chase(no high fence).
