I'm impressed with the quality of some of these deer, ya'll must not have been hunting in the foothills of the blues where the only creature to be seen is the elusive orange tinted hunter...Gah..Congrats to all the hunters!

Agreed.  The Blues are a circus this year.

and just a 3x4.

A big bucks is a big buck, whether he's a 2x6 or a 4x4.  You have a very nice mature big buck with great antlers.

Yeah, he's not a toad, but you're nuts to pass on a buck like that in this state, especially on public lands.

Good job BLUEBULLS.

Just a 16 lb walleye... :chuckle:
Wild Turkey, Walleyes, Whitetails and Wapiti..These are a few of my favorite things!!

Here is my son's first kill, a nice Kelly Hill whitetailed doe he took this weekend. Iceman needs a new camera as marginal light is really crapping on my photos.....  Deer story later. Great thread idea!

October 24th, bowhunting with a modern tag, 3:58 PM, still hunting a thicket where I'd suspected him to be based on early morning encounter with him trailing a doe.  I backed out in the AM and came back in the afternoon.  He stood, I shot, he went down, I was overjoyed...my first mature blacktail after many years of beating my head against the wall and settling late in the season.

Looks like a buck I've seen on the trail cam threads..  You get this guy on film earlier this year?

Backcountry Buck. Not as big as I was after but I really enjoyed the 4 days of relaxation after I shot him.

Yep, he's the one.  Killed him a mile as the crow flies away from where I was getting him on cams...I have two stands set up over there and am glad I didn't hunt them on Saturday!!

Having success hunting Blacktails for years I thought it was time to do my home work and go try a nice open country Mule Deer. All of the looking at maps and logging miles on the rig going over and finding State Lands paid off.
