Good god, any stories on the last two pictures posted, the Cle Elum bucks and the pic above. Those are some great bucks. I have some single friends that would want to meet that girl if she is local (kidding, kind of). That's a stud of a buck. So is the one next to it, and saylean's buck. Wow.

That way my kitchen counter, in fact. If you think Shaggy from Scooby Do looks good, than ya you are a sexy man. That's a good pic. Looks nice except you can't see the back fork on the one side. I bet Dad took 30 minutes setting it up an taking pics. I thought maybe for once you would shoot a deer that is smaller than at least one of my bucks. Bet your glad you missed that buck opening day. What did I keep telling you? Persevere, and be persistant.

Just wanted a story, not a secret spot. And I'm not single anyways. Just know a lot of guys that hunt that are. Yeah and I only hunt out of my truck on roads I'm not supposed to drive on, and muzzleload one out my window, so it wouldn't be for me.  ;)

Not huge antlered deer, but they were huge bodied and filled the freezers.  All 3 are 3 x 3's that were taken outside of Dayton.  The far right is my brothers.  We spotted him and another buck bedding down for the day from about 1000 yards.  Put the stock on them, got to within 50 yards before getting busted.  1st one that jumped was a 2x2, then the pictured one.  Brother put 1 perfect shot in him and down he went.  Middle buck is Wazzu99's.  We watched him go into a small draw with about 20 other deer.  We figured that they were going down for the day, which is what they had been doing the previous 2.  Most of the deer came out of the draw on the other side, however this buck and a couple of does didn't.  So I went up the hill to make sure they weren't sneaking out above and Wazzu went low.  5 minutes later..BOOM.  Wazzu got his buck.  Far left is my buck.  We were set up on a field that he and several other bucks had been feeding in in the evenings.  Suddenly there were 4 shots on the other side of the hill with ricochets right over our heads.  We waited for the shooting to stop to head up the hill.  This was on private property, so we went up to bust whoever it was.  This buck came full sprint around the side of the hill right at us.  Long story short.....I got my buck as well.  I spotted the elk shed across the canyon from me on opening morning.  By the 4th day I couldn't look at it any longer....

Damn Saylean!  He looks a lot bigger in this pic than he did in the thread.  That's a stud!

I agree...the pics I took didnt do the beast justice, so I had my GF take a pic of me holding it...i threw that pic in the original thread....

I wish I would have got a full body shot, but it was very steep and difficult to move alone.

I already put my story up, but thought I'd put the pics here as well.

Skook-Vail Forkie. Good eats and a long awaited accomplishment for me. I'm way more of a fisherman than a hunter, but I love doing both.
