Wet Weekend Ahead
« on: October 22, 2009, 11:53:36 AM »
Holy balls!  I just checked the rain/snow stations in the area I'll be hunting (swimming) in this weekend.  Between 2.1 and 2.6 inches of rain... TODAY ALONE!!!

NOAA has raised the snow level up from the 4000' I was hoping for, to over 5700' tomorrow night.  Plenty of rain on the forecast and Saturday has winds with gusts upto 30 mph predicted.  Could be an interesting weekend on the crest.  Looking for a poncho during the grocery run this evening, camo be damned...

Good luck to all, stay warm, because dry will be an impossibility!

Snow looks to be dropping way down on Monday. I hope to have my season over by then, but if not, that's OK by me.
