Coonhounds post on old time pictures got me thinking, Do you like that old time nostalgic look and do you like to B&W any of your pics? If so lets see em!
Not being able to find any of my grandfathers old hunting photo's Maybe the reason why I like to B&W some of my own. These are my good Ole day's! this is a picture of my Idaho camp 2 years ago, I posted one on this years Idaho hunt that looked similar but wasn't B&W.

I like B&W pictures. This one I had my camera set in B&W mode. One tip I got after showing my brother this picture was to take all your photos in color because you can change any color photo to B&W on the computer, but if you take a B&W photo (having your camera set on B&W) you can never change it to color.

I think the black and white are cool, but I like the color better. Just hard to duplicate those original old time photos. Neat pics though guys.....

Those are nice. It would be even better if you changed into some army woolies and a flannel shirt to dress the part. I'll have to dig up some of my dad's old photos. Oh, a crew cut would help too!

What program do you use to turn the color pics into black and white ones?? I've always wanted to do that but never knew exactly where or how.

Well I know you can do it in photoshop but I have an old program that came with an old Olympus camera I can import my pictures into and then B&W it. Another way I have done it is my camera has a setting that I can take a picture in B&W. But if you do it on your camera it's smart to take 1 pic in color and then the same pic in B&W, cause once you take a B&W pic on your camera it cannot be manipulated back into color later but a color pic can be changed to B&W with any program. I have also just taken a picture of a picture with my camera set on B&W. Hope this helps some!
