Captured Them on the Wing - Pelicans
« on: October 24, 2009, 04:25:30 PM »
My wife and I spent a few days at the Oregon Coast.  Until "late archery" November, I am obliged to shoot critters with my camera.  Had a blast trying to get a good solid shot of these Brown Pelicans.  It was kinda like being at an airplane - air show, yet less predictable.  These bad boys and girls, have wing spans of up to eight feet.

I love the geometry in the third pic. All flying in a diagonal line.
Everyone has something to teach, so listen up
