100 pounds hanging meat with no hide or head?? Or 100 pounds hanging with hide and such??

The chart I have says..

If it's 100 pounds hanging meat it would roughly be 146 field dressed and 184 live weight.

bear story and pics
« Reply #22 on: October 27, 2009, 11:33:35 AM »
ok here is the story on the bear. I had tagged out for deer the day before but went along for the ride with my dad. we parked the truck and start down an old log road, we didn't go 150 yards and here shots above us, then we here brush poppin and snappin kinda figurin the shots had been at deer I still have my rifle slung, we are easin along lookin and I see the bear goin hell bent for texas down the hill I whisper to my dad its a bear and run down the hill hopin for a shot dad stays put. The bear presents a shot to dad so he shoots it up under the ribs it coming out kinda in the arm pit. bear goes down but doesn't stay down, gets up broad side to me and I put one through both longs killin him. The bear had been hit in the foot by the guys who shot first so we waited about 30 minutes for them to come down, they never showed and since they had only shot it in the foot we went ahead and tagged it up and gutted it.

I think you should get a shoulder mount.

Put the antlers on the bear.
