Little Blues Buck
« on: October 26, 2009, 08:57:40 AM »
This was a long overdue R&R trip for me. I am always in search of a big buck but this year was about the peace and quiet. Life has been hectic and this was the perfect week. Had a great time with my father in law and brother in law. I spotted this buck bedded on day two of my 7 day hunt and decided to end it early and rest a bit. We saw lots of bears(one monster that I let get away). Two guys in camp shot bears. I saw a few better bucks after I shot mine but oh well.

Congrats, nice buck.  I saw quite a few nice bucks come out of the Blues this year.

It was a good year down there. I got to put my hands on a 190+ buck that was shot right behind our camp by a new group, first time in. He was incredible. Also another one on the way out that made the 190 look small!! Sorry, you all will be mad but I dont want to go posting pictures of another persons deer out of respect. But trust me they were big.

Nothin' wrong with that buck.  Sounds like a great week.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

About 5 hours in. Never really checked the miles. My inlaws have been going in now for over 30 years.

Good pics. Looks like fun. Haven't been to that part of the state yet. One of these days I'll make it over there.
